Traditions 209 Conversion Kit Md: A1510, Tradition's #11 thunder nipple uses an 8mm thread that tapers at the end to lock into the thunder dome breech plug. This magnum ignition system assures you a torch like flame to ignite the powder. When using the 209 adapter you must use a magnum hammer. The magnum musket nipple is designed for use with musket caps and can be used with the thunder dome breech plug only. Tradition's also offers a magnum 209 adapter nipple for use with 209 shotgun primers. The 209 and Buckhunter conversion kits will convert your muzzleloader to use 209 shotgun primers.
